Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist position is responsible for handling investigations, employee corrections, disputes, grievances, employee behavior, PIPs (Personal Improvement Plans) and terminations. This position reports to the HR Director.

Duties:

-Receives employee relation complaints and reports; researches and conducts necessary investigations, secure appropriate documentation and makes recommendations to resolve the complaints based on findings
-Works with Managers regarding disciplinary actions and terminations; reviews reasoning and documentation
-Performs exit interviews
-Prepares documentation related to progressive discipline and adverse action
-Manage risk and ensure legal compliance for employee related matters
-Provide guidance and interpretation on policy in the Employee Handbook; ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws
-Initiates and recommends Company policy changes based on current business practice
-Drafts recommended language changes
-Assist with other HR programs, duties and projects

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Sr. Compensations Analyst is part of the Global Compensation Team team based in our Home Office in Tampa, FL. The responsibilities included are:
Consult with management, Human Resource Business Partners and business contacts to provide broad-based expertise in compensation planning including market pricing and surveys, job evaluations, periodic planning cycle oversight, etc.

Prepare and deliver financial reporting data (e.g. option exercises, RSU settlements, forfeitures, cancellations, periodic reporting, equity expense and forecasting) to BBI's Accounting Department on a quarterly and period basis for BBI's equity programs
Manage Non-Employee Director compensation administration process including annual grants, quarterly retainer payments, and other Director compensation correspondence
