Postdoc at U. Washington
U. WASHINGTON
*POSTDOC Position available!*

Hi, my research team at the University of Washington, Seattle is a looking for a great postdoc (or two!). The position is available starting immediately, but I am flexible on your start date. We are even more flexible on when/if you move to Seattle. =)

We have two major projects that are going on -- the first is BlackParrot, an open source Linux capable 64b RISC-V multicore funded by DARPA. The second is HammerBlade, a supercomputer for ML and graphs, also funded by DARPA. We have 12nm silicon for V0 of both designs. But these are just the beginning!

The projects are quite broad in their scope, so there are many places where the postdoc can offer leadership and technical expertise:

Writing ISCA, HPCA, ASPLOS, MICRO, VLSI, ISSCC, OOSPLA, PLDI, CGO, ICCAD, DAC papers
Optimizing ML on real architectures
Designing ML accelerators
LLVM Compiler Hacking and Compiler Transformations
GCC Compiler
PyTorch backend
Acceleration of Graph Computations
GPU Coding and Performance Analysis
Computer Architecture
Parallel Compilers
SystemVerilog Design
VLSI Design
ICC2, OpenRoad and/or Innovus Flows
Chip Tapeouts
FPGA Optimization
High Speed Single-Ended I/O (e.g. SSTL receiver design)

See email to prof.taylor@gmail.com if you know somebody who might be a good fit!

Thanks!
