RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform a wide variety of cost analysis and estimation for government clients in the aviation industry in support of acquisition programs. * Provide analytical solutions, including development of program life cycle cost estimates (LCCEs), alternative analyses, economic analysis, and other business case documentation. * Conduct data collection and analysis, life cycle cost estimating, model development, cost risk analysis, affordability assessments, cost-benefit analysis, and other technical analyses as needed. * Self-manage work assignments, contribute to quality, on-time deliverables, make identifiable contributions to customer success * Contribute to project direction and foster collaboration * Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and develop cooperative working relationships. * Contribute to a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment and participate in knowledge sharing opportunities REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, math, engineering, or operations research. Master's Degree is desired. * 5-10 years of relevant experience * High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office products. * Strong analytical background and good interpersonal skills. * Experience in cost analysis and proficiency in use of cost estimating and risk tools such as ACEIT, SEER-SEM, @RISK and Crystal Ball. * Knowledge of government acquisition processes and experience in the development of models and databases is desired * Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities
Collect, organize, and integrate data sets from various data sources, including EVM, accounting,schedule, budget, execution, quantity, technical and programmatic data.
Exhibit the analytical creativity required to tie data together and develop schemes/tools to regularly update databases.
Develop, update and execute policy/procedures for data management and data accessibility.
Develop dashboards and visualizations to show data collection status and provide first-pass analysis.
Contribute to cost estimates for large weapons systems or facilities projects.
Develop knowledge and understanding of technical and programmatic requirements for a variety of systems and projects.
Qualifications
Experience utilizing Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Oracle Data Analytics/Visualization tools
A strong understanding of creating SQL queries
Minimum of 1-3 years of quantitative analysis and problem solving experience.
Ability to effectively communicate technical work in writing and verbally
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel skills
Strong interest in solving government resource allocation problems
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work products at the same time
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a minimum of a DoD Secret clearance or DHS Suitability

Develop and/or evaluate program technical and programmatic baselines
Develop innovative development, production and operating and support (O&S) ... cost estimating techniques for a broad range of cost elements
Develop independent or program life cycle cost estimates and accompanying risk, uncertainty and sensitivity analysis
Develop economic analyses, including but not limited to business case analyses, cost/benefit analyses and analysis-of-alternatives
Assess the credibility of government and industry cost estimates and economic analyses
Evaluate the credibility of industry cost proposals
Assess industry contract cost and schedule performance and conduct variance root cause analysis
Document and present/defend analytical results
Develop and train less experienced cost analysts
Apply highly effective customer service skills and work effectively with teams to foster a collaborative work environment across the organization.
Apply leadership skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, multiple tasks and work requirements
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years’ cost and economic analysis experience.
Understanding of weapons and/or automated information systems design, production, operations, and support processes
Understanding of weapons and/or automated information systems work breakdown structures
Understanding of weapons and/or automated information systems cost drivers
Understanding of government cost, technical and programmatic data sources
Understanding of industry accounting systems
Ability to think analytically, creatively and critically
Ability to conduct ground breaking research Active SECRET Clearance ICEAA Certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Act (DAWIA) certification desired
