Senior Cost Analyst - TS/SCI (sign on bonus eligible)

National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) This position serves as a National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Cadre Technical Analyst providing technical and professional advice on engineering, physical science or mathematical/statistical issues affecting the NRO. The position is assigned to Business Plans & Operations (BPO) Directorate, Cost and Acquisition Assessment Group (CAAG) within the NRO. This position serves as the Ground and Software Estimating Team Lead. The position provides input for the preparation of independent cost estimates for new and ongoing NRO space and ground major system acquisition programs and evaluates the basis of estimates for resource requirements prepared by NRO program offices. Team Lead positions within CAAG are exposed to and can lead contractor teams in developing estimates for programs that span many directorates including AS&T, COMM, GED, GEOINT, MOD, MS&O, OSL, SAO, and SIGINT. This specific opening will manage the Space System Ground and Software estimating methods development efforts in addition to leading and performing estimates. OSD CAPE Government Data Transformation and Normalization Analyst: DoD enterprise O&S data system (EVAMOSC) requires government analysts to oversee and steer the transformation and normalization of ~75 sources data svstems into the common EVAMOSC data architecture. This position requires an analvst with strong/expert knowledge in 1) sustainment cost estimating, 2) how military services perform various sustainment task/efforts (how the work gets done), and 3) how the service utilize their finance, maintenance, and supply systems to collect data and budget for those sustainment tasks. The analyst must be able to work with subject matter experts from service VAMOSCs, cost estimating organizations, sustainment, and budget communities to understand service specific nuance while also integrating those specifics into EVAMOSC's DoD wide normalized dataset. The data transformation analyst must also work closely with the EVAMOSC development team to review, prioritize, and provide direction on EVAMOSC’s ingestion and normalization of source data systems.
