Responsibilities/Duties:  The Coordinator of Annual Giving is responsible for directing and executing all aspects of annual giving revenue through the Pillars Fund (i.e., gifts up to $30,000) to strengthen the mission and ministry of the University.

Design and execute integrated multi-channel strategy that engages donors and strengthens major gift pipeline.

Develop strong annual giving solicitation, engagement, and stewardship programs across all traditional and digital strategies to encourage mid-level gifts (e.g., $5,000 or more) and move donors to higher levels of contribution.

Enhance Foundation's use of analytics to improve segmentation and messaging to create a personal and positive experience for donors.

Oversee a strategy of student-focused programs to teach philanthropy across campus including graduating class, affinity programs and reunion giving.

Work with campus partners (e.g., Athletics, Alumni Association, academic units) to ensure personal and consistent messaging and positive donor experiences.

Collaborate with Foundation colleagues (e.g., External Relations, Gift Officers, Stewardship Manager, etc.) to ensure the University's brand and strategy is used consistently and effectively.

Major Gifts Officer
PLI
Position Summary

The person employed in this position is an exempt employee and is expected to dedicate a minimum of 40 hours per week.

This Major Gift Officer is responsible for discovering, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift donors of PLI. As a part of the Donor Engagement team at PLI, the Major Gift Officer will maintain a portfolio of approximately 150 donors and prospects. This position will work closely with PLI’s co-executive leaders and other PLI staff members in donor engagement to execute PLI’s donor engagement strategy. The Major Gift Officer is also responsible for (along with all other staff members at PLI) maintaining an up-to-date and robust donor database for the purposes of reporting to PLI’s executive team and board of directors. This position is integrally essential to the current and future growth of PLI.

* If Deployed: PLI office presence in Nashville is desired on some occasions when it is advantageous to conduct business in-person, enabling 1-1 and team meetings, inter-staff interactions, project updates, strategy building, problem solving, etc.
