DAVID RUBIN Land Collective seeks an entry-level landscape designer, and a landscape designer with 3-5 years’ experience, to join our Indianapolis, Washington, D.C., or Philadelphia studios!

We’re looking for enthusiastic, design-minded collaborators who represent the ethos and goals of the studio in both their temperament and their design skills. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture, and will be expected to perform a broad range of tasks within the studio, including but not limited to: informing projects with design ideas that balance spatial and form-based matters, rendering, graphics for presentations, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration.

Candidates must have excellent design skills and aesthetic sensibilities, and the ability to render ideas digitally and by hand. The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino. Experience in ArcGIS is preferred but not required. Horticulture, site sustainability, and other technical knowledge is a plus. All candidates should be authorized to work in the United States.

Entry Level Landscape Architect

Specific responsibilities will include assisting project teams with the production of AutoCAD construction documents and details; preparation of conceptual site design plans, illustrations, and 3D visualizations; preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates; assisting project managers with client meeting materials and presentation boards; and participation in public outreach and community engagement.

This position provides an opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities required of a professional landscape architect and presents an opportunity for advancement as a project manager at the firm. The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service rapport, and will require the application of energy and creativity to unique projects.
