Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Academic Services, is responsible for directing, coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of the District’s core curriculum programs (Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies 6-12) and leadership development. Provide curricular, instructional, and programmatic leadership through collaboration with district leaders to create systems that support principals and teachers to focus on the core business of schools: ensuring all students are provided rigorous learning standards and engaging work. Ensure collaboration between content and programs to provide seamless learning and support for secondary campus personnel. Lead curriculum design work to frame innovative learning standards, create authentic assessments, and design engaging work to ensure all students achieve at high levels. Ensure that secondary programs are implemented in collaboration with campus leadership and have appropriate evaluation measures to assess program effectiveness.
