Climbing Arborist
Precision Tree Care
At Precision Tree Care, our team of Certified Arborists take pride in the tree development in Chatham-Kent’s residential settings. We focus on safety and presenting a professional image. We provide the highest quality service and stay up to date with the industries latest standards at ISA. This position will give the potential applicant ample opportunity to continue to develop their climbing skills and work directly with one of our certified Arborists.

Job Duties:
Perform daily duties in accordance with Arborist Safe Work Practices;
Promote crew safety, efficiency, and production to clientele;
Using climbing experience for application in pruning and removal of trees;
Plant/transplant trees using proper planting techniques;
Performing safe rigging practices;
Application of a variety of approved knots and hitches;
Drive/operate/inspect and ensure proper maintenance of a variety of equipment,
including a dump truck, chipper, skid steer, chain saw, power-pole saw, hedger and
other associated equipment and hand tools;
Handle/load/chip brush and wood;
Perform other related work, as assigned.

We are looking for an experienced climber who can lead a crew safely and efficiently.

Here’s the catch! You only have to work seasonally!!! That’s right!

We are an island access company that serves the shoreline of southern Georgian Bay. We have been providing detail oriented and certified tree work for 15 years.

This position will be compensated over 12 months of the year, paid bi-weekly even in the off season.

Working season can very, but is typically April- December with some Winter work.
