King's Internships Manager

We are recruiting a King’s Internships Manager to oversee the growth and direction a diverse portfolio of bespoke programming, including both curricular and co-curricular schemes in the UK and overseas, alongside specialist provision for disabled and under-represented groups. 

They will manage a team of four staff delivering this programme portfolio which forms one team within Employer Engagement. The post holder will be responsible for oversight of the full programme lifecycle including planning, sourcing, marketing, application processing, delivery and review together with the continued efficiency of associated processes. Successful candidates will continually evaluate the effectiveness of delivery against internal targets, in support of broader external metrics and Graduate Outcomes, whilst ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, contracts and agreements as part of the College Employability Strategy and broader functional placements service.

Additionally, the post holder will coordinate broader delivery of self-source support for students across King’s, annual award ceremonies and provide input into growing e-learning and systems for tracking self-sourced delivery to enhance broader employer engagement. They will be expected to engage with host employers, funding partners, students and alumni as well as internal stakeholders in developing plans for students across faculty to ensure King’s College London remains a top-tier target institution for the widest range of internship partners.
