We are looking for experienced, forward-thinking, feline loving RVNs to join the team at a brand-new cat clinic in Horsham.
Grayland’s Cat Clinic is an independent practice where you would be joining friendly, experienced, and passionate clinical directors consisting of two vets and an RVN. We are opening at the end of September in a purpose-built environment aiming to provide individual, gold-standard, comprehensive care to cats, their owners, and its staff. Feline medicine is a relatively new field, and we are keen to lead the way using evidence-based medicine/nursing and education.
Employee representation shareholding is very important for the Grayland’s vision, so, there will be potential, for the right candidates to become shareholders after 12 months of service. We are also keen to promote employee well-being by providing a stress-free and proactive work environment that promotes quality of life and job satisfaction. It is important for us to have RVN’s that feel valued and want to drive the practice forward enabling us to provide exceptional care to our amazing feline patients and their owners.
We are looking for proactive RVN’s that can hit the ground running and keen to develop their role within practice. There will be minimal reception duties, as we are keen to utilise your clinical skills and interests elsewhere.

We are an independent mobile veterinary clinic, bringing dedicated veterinary care to cats in their own home. We all know how stressful a vet visit can be for a cat, and the owner; we provide an alternative solution, providing for those cats who would otherwise be unlikely to receive any routine vet care. Much of what is done in a ‘normal’ clinic can be done in the client’s home; for example, health checks, vaccinations, blood pressure measurement, blood and urine sampling, and sedation for minor procedures such as ultrasonography. Our nurses perform visits for weight management, senior cat checks, osteoarthritis clinics and behaviour.
Currently, we use the facilities of a couple of other clinics in the area for surgery, x-rays etc. Our future plan is to set up our own CatHQ, from where we can not only do these procedures, but also hospitalise patients when required.
We are a small team that cares about each other. We can offer you respect, inclusion, empathy, a good laugh while we work, and cracking cups of tea. Out-of-hours care is covered by local MiNightVet practices, however we all share in taking the phone to triage any out-of-hours calls.
The role.
PT or FT considered.
The role varies from day to day. One day could be spent travelling around to clients’ homes to help the vet with consults, the next could be spent at one of the clinics assisting with anaesthesia for dentals, surgery or X-rays. There are also days you fly solo (with external support) spending the day providing nurse clinics in the area.
There is a lot of driving, and a lot of cat cuddling, and minimal cleaning!
