Department of Computer Science, Texas Tech We have several ongoing federal agency (NSF, Dept of Education) sponsored projects, are working on new proposals for federal agencies and on a proposal for a university wide initi... ative. The core of our research is on AI (logic and neural net based) based integration of the learning of STEAM subjects for K-12 (and undergrad and grad). We are particularly interested in the areas of discovering/studying cognitive/learning progress of new constructs (e.g., through clinical interviews), rigorous study of learning progression, curriculum development (involving deep domain knowledge), and game based learning (on game design). In addition to postdoc and/or research positions, it is possible for short term (at the level of months) visits for PhD students at their later research stage and for established researchers/faculty.
