Research Internships for PhD and masters students
Snap Inc. (Snapchat)
Looking for graduate students interested in developing new social and playful AR experiences that bring close friends and family even closer, when they are apart and in-person. We're particularly interested in doing research on co-located AR experiences that are playful and bring friends and family together when they're in person.

Some questions for you:

1. Could you think of a specific project on co-located AR that you might be interested to work on? Imagine you're writing an abstract about it, what would it say?

2. If you have to pick, would you prefer to focus on building new software or on studying how people use it?

3. Also, we like to know what interns want to get out of their internship to best help them achieve their goals. In the past, we've helped interns get (a) a publication, (b) taking an intellectual break from their dissertation work and explore something new, (c) work directly on publicly available products, (d) work on new products, (e) gain engineering experience? Something else?
