Daily Job Functions:
Develop transportation solutions for all users through complete streets and context sensitive design.
Analyze and resolve traffic congestion, operational, and safety issues through sound engineering principals
Review roadway plans and provide comments based on city standards and traffic engineering principals
Develop, implement and maintain traffic signal timing sequencing and coordination plans
Respond to requests and questions regarding transportation issues. Assist citizens other departments and city council in resolving traffic concerns and complaints.

Senior Sales Manager
Axilion We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead Axilion’s North America sales efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES • Drive sales across North America, targeting city and state transportation agencies to promote Axilion’s X Way platform. • Build and maintain relationships with traffic engineers and public sector stakeholders, supporting adoption and long-term partnerships. • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation, and track sales opportunities within the CRM. • Represent Axilion at conferences, trade shows, and public sector events, showcasing our traffic optimization solutions. • Research market trends, competitors, and B2G funding opportunities to inform sales strategies. • Assist in developing and supporting grant and RFP proposals tailored to the needs of transportation agencies. • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, R&D, Marketing) to ensure sales efforts align with technical and marketing strategies. • Provide insights and feedback from customers to inform product development and future strategies.
REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably within the public sector (B2G) or transportation industry. • Proven track record in closing complex sales deals with government agencies or municipalities. • Excellent communication skills; able to build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting. • Familiarity with the U.S. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) sector and B2G funding mechanisms (e.g., grants, RFPs) is a plus.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Prepare, and coordinate to completion contracts for construction of various projects, exercising discretion and independent judgment with little direct supervision. Review monthly pay estimates and invoices for payment on city projects. Coordinate projects with area governments and utility agencies. Communicate courteously and effectively, in person, on the phone, or in writing in the English language, with other city employees, officials, contractors, vendors, and the public.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering required from a University with an accredited engineering program by the Accrediting Board for Engineering and Technology. Professional Engineer registration in Texas required, or must attain registration within six months of appointment.
