Larned State Hospital Hi To provide for the surveillance of and response to the infection control issues as they arise at LSH. This position is also responsible for any COVID-19 related issues. In ad... dition, this position assures that the related Employee Health Program services are implemented in accordance with LSH policy. Assist with consolidated clinic services which include: medical clinic, vision clinic, dental clinic, GYN clinic, physical therapy, ECG and central supply. Extreme latitude is allowed with responsibilities and independent judgment. General guidelines are given for infection control. Most guidelines are developed for research by the RN by review of infection control literature, MMR, TJC standards for medical services, D.S., ECG, quality improvement, physical rehabilitation, nursing, dietary, laundry, safety, leadership, environmental services, and hazmat.
