A nine-month, full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Literacy in Bilingual/Multilingual Elementary School Settings. The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of California, Berkeley invites applicants for a pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach elementary and intermediate Spanish language courses should an opening arise. The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the departments. Positions may range from 40% time to 100% time.

Due to COVID 19 UC Berkeley has begun the fall semester with fully remote instruction. UC Berkeley is prepared to implement hybrid and/or flexible modes of instruction as soon as public health conditions allow. Computational Linguistics Post Doc

The Department for Computational Linguistics of the University of Zurich is seeking a postdoctoral researcher (80-100%) to work in the newly founded Digital Linguistics research group headed by Prof. Dr. Lena Jäger. The postdoctoral researcher is joining a team focusing on the interface between computational linguistics, cognitive science and machine learning. We experimentally and computationally investigate the cognitive processes that underlie human language processing and develop machine learning methods for the application-oriented analysis of language data.
