Mission: To build a brave, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, non-judgmental, and visible space and community for Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (2SLGTBQIA+) youth, families and allies in Southwest Colorado.
Salaried Employee, Paid $24.00/hour, Full-Time; Exempt Benefits: Paid time off (holiday, vacation, sick, mental health) and $150 monthly wellness stipend, plus health insurance plans
Desired Experience and Professional and Personal Qualifications: 2-3 years experience in non-profit sector/ experience working with forcibly oppressed youth OR 2-3 experience with social justice advocating/organizing/grassroots community work for forcibly oppressed youth OR Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in human services (psychology, sociology, social work, etc) AND 1 year experience in non-profit sector working with forcibly oppressed communities.
A. Main Responsibilities for position: Identify, develop curriculum needs voiced from youth and community, and supervise RYC programs. Directly lead and facilitate youth groups B. Volunteer Coordination & Management: Monitor/supervise Volunteer Coordination programs, budgets, operations, policies and training.
