Eskenazi Health is a Level 1 trauma center. Due to our high acuity, team members in this role can anticipate caring for and monitoring high acuity patients. You will also encounter patients with a wide variety of backgrounds, disease processes, and interventions. We have a Level III NICU as well as the largest Emergency Department in the state of Indiana. Lastly, we are the ONLY certified adult burn/wound care center in the state of Indiana and have cutting-edge technologies.

Mental Health Clinician

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, Indiana's first community mental health center, provides comprehensive care for all types of emotional and behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse. We offer both inpatient and outpatient services in multiple locations throughout the city. Our primary mission is to serve individuals with serious mental illness, chronic addiction and seriously emotionally disturbed children and their families. Licensed Clinician Part Time Nights/Weekends

The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic- and community-based services.
The Assessment and Intervention Center (AIC) Licensed Clinician provides assessment, intervention and support services to all individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use, or homelessness presenting to the AIC. The AIC Licensed Clinician directly interfaces with law enforcement and community referral sources, including the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, and Marion County hospital emergency rooms. The AIC Licensed Clinician evaluates needs and risk of each referral and AIC resident to help drive linkage of these individuals to treatment and community resources.

Gender Health Referral Coordinator

The Referral Coordinator processes referrals for patients seen in the Gender Health Program. This includes: verifying patient insurance eligibility; communicating with physicians; obtaining prior authorization or precertification when needed; scheduling appointments consistent with patients’ insurance plan, and processing all appropriate paperwork. The Referral Coordinator communicates appropriate diagnostic and clinical information as needed. The Referral Coordinator communicates with all patients in a manner appropriate to their age and development stage.
