What You’ll Be Doing: Formulate and develop machine learning predictive models that provide value added insights to our clients. Define and document standards for analytics processes and data to allow cross-product insights. Code, test, document, and deploy new analytics insights using standard Business Intelligence (BI) tools established at Brightly for machine learning, reporting, dashboarding, data cloud, and automation. Layer on environmental impact insights where applicable to inspire and guide our client’s and communities’ journey to net-carbon-zero targets. Key Responsibilities include a combination of Strategy, Execution and Leadership with the ideal candidate possessing a clear track record of excellence in each area: Function as a strategic thought leader in Analytics working with the Senior Product Manager to drive optimization models and outcomes. Partner with Products, Reporting, Data Cloud, and Software Engineering to understand needs, gain agreement on key initiatives, and work to deliver models and data strategy. Identify key data questions and build out supporting plans. Ownership of Analytics models, meta-data, and optimization framework. Define required data types and data gathering techniques. Build scalability into business models with a focus on rapid growth across both geographies and client verticals. Identify new data sources and mining opportunities for value added client insights. Create clean data sets, standards, and documentation to lay solid analytics and BI foundation. Identify and deliver key data sciences projects across the Product organization including predictive analytics, KPI’s, benchmarks, sustainability metrics, and cross-product insights. Ensure alignment on systems roadmap, data needs, and data architecture as needed.
