Primary responsibilities of the Special Education Teacher include:
teaching and participating in milieu development participating in family meetings and interagency case conferences development of IEP and progress notes
The Special Education Teacher will work collaboratively with the clinical and educational team and participate in professional development to ensure curriculum and pedagogy reflects current academic standards and best practices.
Biweekly supervision and ongoing training in curriculum development, implementation and assessment, behavior management, and differentiated instruction is provided.
Schedule:
The Riverside School is a 12-month school with 5 weeks paid vacation in addition to 11 paid holidays. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM.
Salary: $65,000/year for Master Level; $55,000/year for Bachelor's Level with required licensure
