The Executive Director of Maryland Latinos Unidos (a project of Maryland Nonprofits) will be responsible for developing the strategy, goals, and tactics for Maryland Latinos Unidos to become a strong statewide advocacy network and support structure for organizations serving the Latino community and allies.

Maryland Latinos Unidos’ (MLU) goal is to address issues of special concern to Maryland’s Latino and immigrant community, including housing, food insecurity, educational access, healthcare, and economic opportunities. MLU seeks to identify and amplify the efforts that are operating to meet needs in localized areas and scale up to statewide efforts.

Qualifications:
*5+ years experience in working within the Latino community on priorities that are relevant to Maryland Latinos Unidos
*Experience in public policy advocacy
*Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
*Self-starter with enthusiasm for the mission of Maryland Latinos Unidos.
*Excellent organizational and communication skills.
*Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
