The Service Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and providing service coordination and case management for members in a senior affordable housing building, managed by CSI Support & Development (CSI). The Service Coordinator’s responsibility is to enhance the ability for members to stay living independently in the co-op, and includes collaborating with members, the Co-op council and/or the liaison, assessing needs and linking members and community members to services, providing case management, planning and implementing educational opportunities promoting health and well-being, and developing and supporting meaningful engagement between members in the Co-op and those of the surrounding community. The Service Coordinator is an employee of Civic Works Inc. and part of a joint Civic Works/CSI team.
Full time and part time positions available in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

The ideal person for this position has a love for seniors, enjoys leading and managing people, and has a strong understanding of caring for aging issues, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and associated memory issues. Having met the Assisted Living Manager criteria in the State of Maryland is a plus!
The position is responsible for assisting with the management of the assisted living program at Inspirations Memory Care of Lutherville LLC and directs activities of the staff and contracted service providers on behalf of the community. The community provides its residents with services and amenities to deliver a quality living environment that meets or exceeds all applicable standards, regulations and policies including COMAR Chapter 14 on Assisted Living Programs. The Assisted Living Manager is expected to provide on- site management oversight and assist as necessary to ensure that staff are informed and properly supported at all times.

There are several openings and the positions are located at Senior Centers throughout Baltimore County. The starting salary for this position is $18.84 per hour; contingent on experience, candidates can be hired at up to $20.70 per hour. Occupational Requirements: Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent plus two years successful experience in senior centers, adult education, adult recreation, counseling, social work, community development, or a closely related field.
