Required Qualifications

BOC Athletic Trainer and eligible for Missouri Athletic Training Licensure
Potential to develop or continue an established line of scholarship
Previous teaching experience; contemporary expertise in one of the following areas is a plus: general medical concerns, therapeutic interventions, and/or injury prevention
Commitment to working effectively with students, faculty, and staff
Experience working as a clinical athletic trainer; experience in a healthcare fellowship/residency program graduate is a plus
Strong interpersonal, written, electronic, and oral communication skills
Experience with educational technology programs [e.g., Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas), Microsoft Office Suite, etc.]
Experience with accrediting organizations
Record of activity in a professional organization(s) and/or university committees

Qualifications: Provide Athletic training services for intercollegiate sports, evaluation and treatment of injuries, designing and supervising rehabilitation programs, pre-practice and game preparations and referral of student-athletes to appropriate Physicians. Maintaining computerized medical records and documenting athletic training needs on injured student-athletes to coaches. Assists the Head Athletic Trainer with the overall operations of the athletic training facilities, including ordering and inventory of all athletic training supplies.
