The Athletic Trainer shall provide athletic training services to local college and high school students during daily practices and through scheduled contests and games. The Athletic Trainer also serves as a liaison between the family physicians and specialists, the school district, athletes and their parents. Assistant Professor - Athletic Training and Health Sciences - Tenure Track

Primary Responsibilities:
Teach 12 credit hours per semester.
Teach courses within the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program

BOC Athletic Trainer and eligible for Missouri Athletic Training Licensure
Potential to develop or continue an established line of scholarship
Previous teaching experience; contemporary expertise in one of the following areas is a plus: general medical concerns, therapeutic interventions, and/or injury prevention
Commitment to working effectively with students, faculty, and staff
Experience working as a clinical athletic trainer; experience in a healthcare fellowship/residency program graduate is a plus
Strong interpersonal, written, electronic, and oral communication skills
Experience with educational technology programs [e.g., Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas), Microsoft Office Suite, etc.]
Experience with accrediting organizations
Record of activity in a professional organization(s) and/or university committees
