We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manager to work on energy efficiency programs in Chicago, as well as a comprehensive sustainability and energy efficiency program for a multifamily investor. As the primary point of contact for these programs, the Program Manager will manage day-to-day operations, mentor a team of outreach professionals, and ensure the achievement of key metrics, including kWh savings. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in utility energy efficiency programs, data aggregation, and benchmarking compliance, along with a strong understanding of the Chicagoland area and the commercial real estate industry.
In addition to successfully helping to implement the Program, you will work with Waypoint management and clients to expand our existing business lines over time. Every day you will be working towards helping society better utilize its energy resources. A background in management consulting, project management, or an equivalent field is preferred for this role. Direct experience working with utilities is preferred but not required.

Position Summary: As a Waypoint Analyst, you will ensure successful delivery of our professional services in the commercial real estate industry to drive value for our utility, government and real-estate clients in a customer-facing role. Primary responsibilities include leading and executing innovative market outreach and engagement strategies with commercial building owners and managers. This will involve phone calls (some cold calling), email and in-person events. You will develop and manage stakeholder relationships within a regional portfolio of commercial buildings, collaborating with energy engineers to develop customized business cases for building retrofits, conducting strategic data analysis with actionable results, and coordinating with utility account executives to increase adoption and implementation of energy efficient upgrades scale.
