Human Resources Manager
Military Family Advisory Network
The Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN) is seeking a full-time human resources manager to guide the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the organization. This position is fully remote.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for administering, maintaining, and managing HR systems, programs, procedures, and plans according to HR policies and will provide assistance to all levels of personnel on HR-related issues.

This position must be able to maintain confidentiality and requires the ability to be an independent thinker, adjust quickly to change, and continually grow and develop as the business evolves. The HR Manager must have strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to deliver excellent customer service.

This is a full remote position. Candidates are expected to have a dedicated workspace and work during MFAN’s core hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday. Occasional weekend and after-hours work can be expected. This position may be subject to travel as needed.

Research Data Analyst
Military Family Advisory Network
The Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN) seeks a skilled qualitative researcher to support our ongoing research projects focused on military families, service members, and veterans. A successful candidate will have qualitative research experience, be detail oriented, won’t miss a deadline, excels at managing time, relationships, and projects, and is equally comfortable working independently or with a team.

Main responsibilities:

-Oversee day-to-day project management of all research projects with the oversight of the Associate Director of Research and Program Evaluation
-Code and analyze data in a variety of research projects
-Produce reports of analyzed data for team members and outside stakeholders
-Perform quality control on data analysis
-Support projects with funding partners and ensure that tasks remain on track for goals and deadlines
-Quickly adapt and adjust to scheduling and target changes to fit the needs of the project, team, and partner
-Utilize project management software to track tasks and deadlines

Skills required:

- Master’s degree or 5 years of relevant research experience
Previous experience with coding qualitative data, analyzing mixed methods data set, and communicating key themes in a professional setting
- A passion for understanding and supporting military families
- Superior organization and attention to detail
- Highly effective in written and verbal communication
- Proven self-starter with strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outline scope and timeline
