A physician with a solo FHO/FHT practice in the town of Hagersville, Ontario (part of Haldimand County), is looking for a long-term locum ... to support their practice 1-2 days per week from 9:00-3:00PM, as soon as possible. Ideally the candidate will cover Monday and Tuesdays, although the physician is open to negotiating. The locum will help cover a roster of approximately 1,200 patients, seeing 16-20 patients per day. The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate.
As part of the Haldimand Family Health Team, this practice has access to a variety of allied health supports on-site and is also supported by two receptionists who also support the practice administering patient injections.
The practice uses OSCAR EMR to manage patient medical records, and the successful candidate will be practicing in a location that has 2 exam rooms, a separate area for weight and injections, a waiting room/reception, and is located right next to West Haldimand General Hospital. Additional services on-site include lab and x-ray.
