Emergence Behavioral Health (EBH), is seeking a Therapist with experience providing therapeutic and case management services to individuals with sexual offending behavior. EBH offices are located in White Bear Lake, Elk River, Minneapolis and Burnsville.

EBH is a community-based agency operating a program specializing in the assessment and treatment of adults and adolescents who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviors. The position is responsible for the assessment of clients in the program, development of treatment plans, facilitation of therapeutic intervention, monitoring of progress, reporting of progress to referral agencies and the court as well as working collaboration with probation officers and human services caseworkers. Primary tasks include individual and family therapy and group facilitation.

Project Pathfinder is a nonprofit organization working to prevent sexual abuse for more than 20 years. Project Pathfinder is seeking a therapist who is interested in working with those clients who have committed sexual harm. Therapists work with clients in both group and individual therapy. Consultation and collaboration with referral parties such as probation and others is essential. PPI currently has a need for specialty services clinical team members as well; therefore, experience or interest in working with low functioning, Hmong clients, and/or women is possible. The successful candidate would provide adult psychotherapy (both individual and group services) and assessment services for individuals who are convicted of a sexual offense, found to have harmed another sexually, or come forward on their own seeking help for problematic sexual behavior.

The successful candidate will also stay current on new and updated evidence supported clinical methods specific to this population. Project Pathfinder continues to diversify and expand its client base, therefore, assessments will likely vary and offer a stimulating and energizing environment to work in.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in human services related field. Licensed (or license eligible) as LPCC, LMFT, or LICSW, with experience in the sexual abuse field preferred.

Clinical Supervisor

The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision of treatment staff at the Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) Moose Lake site. This requires close, collaborative relationships between facility staff, Department of Human Services, community based national and local programs and contractors/vendors. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for adherence to any licensing, certification or rules established specifically for this program within the context of protecting public safety and treating patients humanely and safely. Inherent in the duties of the Clinical Supervisor is the ability to prepare for, and respond to, any unusual or emergency situations so the safety, accountability, welfare and security of the facility, general public, on-site personnel, and clients is provided.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Managing and overseeing sex offender specific programming and treatment to ensure the programming functions in compliance with professional Department of Human Services standards; maintains a safe, secure and humane environment for patients and staff; and ensures the safety of the public.
