Senior Healthcare Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will perform analysis, synthesis, and modeling of data to support system contracting, physician bench-marking, financial planning, and forecasting processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will build strong working relationships with key internal customers and with external data suppliers/vendors as necessary.  He/She will develop best practices for approaches to analysis and dataset development.

Included in the day to day activities of the Senior Financial Analyst will be the management of the pay for performance settlement processes. This will include verification of data regarding payments received from payers and modeling of LCO distribution methodologies.  Making sure internal settlements are in accordance with NEQCA central policies and procedures related to medical director and leadership bonuses, reserves, withholds, and account receivables is also an important function assumed by the Senior Financial Analyst.  Clear, concise, and timely reporting of settlements to LCOs, management of communication of all cash distributions, and coordination between all internal departments is a critical function assumed by the position.

In addition, this individual is also expected to work with reinsurance broker(s), ensuring that any analysis, preparation, and submission of claims and renewal materials are provided as required and appropriate.
