NC Innovations (I/DD) program is a Medicaid Waiver Program that trains and supports people with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. The services under the waiver help individuals learn skills to function more independently. The employee works directly with participants, parents, and other caregivers (individual or groups) in a naturally occurring setting (home, school, community, etc) to address functional problems that occur within that setting.

Director of Clinical Services

The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the providing clinical leadership and implementation of clinical initiatives while serving as a member of the Merakey Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team program leadership team. The incumbent provides vision and leadership to ensure quality service provision and coordination of services to individuals with a dual diagnosis (MI/DD).
Required:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
• Current and unrestricted clinical license in state of practice
• 5 years experience providing treatment services to individuals with a dual diagnosis of IDD and MH
• 3 years experience providing clinical supervision to staff
• Have knowledge in behavior modification techniques such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
Preferred:
• NADD-Clinical Certification OR
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst OR
• Doctorate degree

Contracted Risking Connection Faculty Trainer
Traumatic Stress Institute of Klingberg Family Centers
We are seeking experienced IDD Professionals to serve as Faculty Trainers for the Risking Connection (RC) Trauma Training as adapted for IDD organizations. This person would present the RC Basic Training and Train-the-Trainer as well as participate in organizational coaching calls. Must have mental health related license and have 5+ years working in the IDD field and 5+ years presenting professional training to a variety of audiences. Training engagements will be limited initially to 1-3 per year, but could grow over time.
