Preschool Teacher- Hiring Bonus
Windmill School We are hiring two part-time teachers 10-30 hours a week. Weekly hours include paid planning time, classroom prep and clean-up.
First position is 25-30 hours a week, Monday-Friday with possible extra hours available if needed. This position requires knowledge of child development, excellent communication skills, and tremendous patience to provide a safe, emotionally secure, and nurturing environment for the healthy development of young children. The Periwinkle Child Development Center Director is responsible for all classroom program operations including the engagement and support of children and families, coordination and supervision of staff, center procedures and budget management, curriculum planning and implementation, developmental assessments, medication management as needed, maintaining licensure standards, and record keeping. In addition, the Director will oversee the operations of the Center as a Early Childhood Education Lab in collaboration with LBCC’s Early Childhood Education degree program and faculty.
