UW Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship 2024-2025
University of Washington
Our comprehensive Cardiothoracic Radiology Fellowship program was founded in July 2009. This non-ACGME program includes hands-on training in cardiac and thoracic radiographs, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance.
Fellows are responsible for interpretation of CT, MRI, and radiographs performed at UW-Montlake, UW-Northwest, UW neighborhood clinics, Harborview Medical Center, and The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center – Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Fellows work alongside the attending radiologists. Fellows have the opportunity to review the exams and formulate clinical impressions prior to discussion with the attending radiologist or cardiologist. This allows fellows to develop and hone their diagnostic knowledge independently.

We are currently accepting applications for 2024 .

National Jewish Health/ University of Colorado Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship 2024-25
National Jewish Health / University of Colorado
We have a fellowship opening for the 2024-25 year. The cardiothoracic imaging fellowship program is a 1-year training program. We offer a joint fellowship with the ACGME-accredited University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (CU). The joint program at National Jewish Health and CU Anschutz consistently ranks among the top hospitals in the country for adult pulmonology and lung surgery. This fellowship offers extraordinary opportunities for continued learning, research and clinical interactions, designed to develop broad-based expertise in all forms of non-invasive cardiothoracic imaging and image processing. The program is non-ACGME and does not participate in the National Resident Matching Program.

National Jewish Health is an international referral center for clinical care of pulmonary diseases, and includes a diverse population of outpatients with respiratory and cardiac disease. The practice is enriched by a large population of patients with interstitial lung disease, asthma, COPD, occupational lung disease, and pulmonary infections. Cardiac CT and MR imaging is performed on a daily basis. CU Anschutz is the main academic and teaching institution for medical education for the Rocky Mountain Region. At CU Anschutz, there is a more general population of patients requiring chest imaging studies. It is a regional referral center for trauma, lung and heart transplantation, adult congenital heart disease, thoracic oncology, cardiothoracic surgery and pulmonary hypertension. CU Anschutz offers a robust cardiac imaging program performing approximately 2,000 and 1,500 yearly cardiac CT and MR, respectively. At both institutions, multidisciplinary conferences with outstanding clinicians are major learning opportunities. Upon completion of the program, fellows will be able to image all forms of chest and cardiovascular disease with appropriate tools and to answer clinical questions with confidence and a great degree of expertise.
