GRANT COORDINATOR
Chesapeake Healthcare Center
Develop effective interviewing strategies for conducting patient interviews.
Travel to local agencies, hospitals, etc to bring awareness of the Medication Assisted Treatment program and to create an open network of referrals to the program. Must have reliable transportation.
Gathers and presents accurate data on the project’s success and outcomes
Organize and provide events such as Narcan Awareness, Community Education on Addiction, Overdose Awareness, etc.
Provide detailed monthly reports to the funders and the management with respect to the organization's and the grant's progress.

Educational Background

A bachelor's degree (BA) in the human service field (counseling, psychology, social work, etc.) is the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for this position. It is advantageous if the candidate has a minimum of two years of professional experience related to this position. Obtaining addiction certification or a master’s degree certainly adds more value to the profile. The salary is negotiable based on the education and experience of the candidate.

Salary Details
Employees that receive additional education (MA degree) or certification as an addiction counselor (ADC) may receive additional compensation.

Essential Functions:
1. Provides comprehensive assessment and determines medically necessary and appropriate service needs of client within agency and program guidelines.
2. Provides treatment services following the most appropriate therapy modality, ensuring that treatment is effective, efficient, and meet the client needs and satisfaction.
3. Ensures that quality customer services are provided and recorded appropriately.

5. Follows program and center guidelines for all billable activity documentation.

8. Provides crisis intervention services as indicated.
9. Attends all center meetings/trainings as assigned.
10. Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and risk management policies and procedures including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
11. Utilizes technology provided to perform job efficiently and effectively.
12. Completes crisis safety plans with consumers as indicated.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:
1. Education, Certification/License, and/or Experience:
a. Master’s Degree in psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited program.
b. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
c. Experience in behavioral health and/or substance abuse preferred.

Positive Behavior Support Clinical Educator - Charleston WV

Positive Behavior Services Clinical Educator (23712)
The purpose of this position is to 1) provide individual in-home behavioral therapy services to individuals and families with serious challenging behaviors to reduce the risk of out of home placement, 2) educate and build comprehensive educational platforms for community health providers in trauma informed positive behavior therapy to decrease challenging behaviors and improve quality of life and build capacity throughout West Virginia regarding positive behavior therapy techniques, and 3) Coordinate case management to the highest risk youth for out of home placement in WV.

The candidate will work with individuals with serious emotional disorders who are at risk of out of home placement, to evaluate their support needs. The candidate will work with the individual and their caregivers to develop and implement a therapeutic positive behavior support plan. In addition, this individual will work with children’s mental health providers throughout West Virginia to provide behavioral case consultation services, develop and conduct trainings, and coach staff in the implementation of trauma informed positive behavior support therapy.
