Where is this job based? Is this an in-person position?

This is a full-time, mostly in-person position based out of our Denton, Maryland Campus. The Hybrid Remote Therapist serves youth ages 12-20 in campus-based group homes, including specialized programs for youth with emotional, cognitive, and developmental disabilities.

Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and must include two evening shifts (e.g. 12:00pm– 8 p.m.). This position is part of the Therapist on Call rotation. BCC has a flex schedule policy that may allow this role to shift the start time a little earlier or later in the day. BCC has a telework policy that allows up to one day a week of remote work, with flexibility for life’s unpredictable moments and weather.

Professional Curriculum and Training Manager

The Training Manager is responsible for collaborating with the program and other BCC leaders to develop and implement curricula surrounding several focus areas: new hire onboarding; training that meets compliance standards mandated by BCC’s licensing and accreditation bodies (as well as industry best practices); leadership and professional development; and organizational culture and improvement.
