You’re an architect of the blank screen — you see what’s possible long before a single pixel is placed. Your love for designing intuitive user experiences and beautiful user interfaces is what gets you out of bed on cold, rainy days. You get equally stoked about design patterns, interactive design and creating complex apps and eye-catching landing pages. You develop websites, CMS templates and CMS-like modules/plugin functions like a champ. Your bag of digital tools includes Adobe Creative Suite, wireframe tools and all the current best practices for responsive design. Working side by side with web developers, you create robust end to end solutions for clients both big and small.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Develop web optimized assets for multiple platforms
• Mobile first design best practices
• Collaborate closely with web developers and creative leadership to execute the creation of digital assets
• Critically evaluate the features and functionality of a product to produce an excellent user experience that meets both user and business needs
• Pair with external clients to provide product vision and leadership from ideation through implementation
• Produce low-fidelity wireframes, pixel-perfect screen mockups, and interactive prototypes across multiple platforms and screen sizes
• Utilize wireframe tools (e.g. wireframe.cc, sketch, adobe XD)
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function
• Design graphic user interface
• Other work as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Highly motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn
•Highly skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite (CS5 +) computer software to execute designs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
•Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to work with others, such as printers, programmers, developers or other technicians, to complete the final product
•Highly organized with an attention to detail
