About the Farmworker Rights Division: We ... provide free legal representation to eligible farmworkers with employment-related matters in Georgia. Typical cases involve employers failing to pay workers’ wages; discriminating on the basis of sex, citizenship or national origin; subjecting workers to human trafficking conditions; and breaking recruitment promises.
This staff attorney position, and one paralegal, will be funded through a grant administered by the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, as part of the newly created Agricultural Labor Trafficking Task Force. The staff hired under the subgrant will collaborate with this multi-agency coalition, working together to fight against agricultural labor trafficking in rural Georgia and to provide comprehensive services to the survivors.

Sp... ecifically, HRSA is requesting nominations for the following positions: Board Member/Patient (1 nominee) and Administrator/Provider (2 nominees). The Board Member/Patient nominee must be a member or member-elect of a governing board of an organization receiving funding under section 330(g) of the PHS Act. The board member nominee must also be a patient of the health center that he/she represents. Additionally, a board member nominee must be familiar with the delivery of primary health care to migratory and seasonal agricultural workers (MSAWs) and their families. The Administrator/Provider nominees must be qualified by training and experience in the medical sciences or in the administration of health programs for MSAWs and their families.
