Labor Trafficking Staff Attorney
Georgia Legal Services Program The Farmworker Rights Division of Georgia Legal Services Program is hiring a full-time bilingual (Spanish/English) Staff Attorney.
About the Farmworker Rights Division: We provide free legal representation to eligible farmworkers with employment-related matters in Georgia. Typical cases involve employers failing to pay workers’ wages; discriminating on the basis of sex, citizenship or national origin; subjecting workers to human trafficking conditions; and breaking recruitment promises.
This staff attorney position, and one paralegal, will be funded through a grant administered by the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, as part of the newly created Agricultural Labor Trafficking Task Force. The staff hired under the subgrant will collaborate with this multi-agency coalition, working together to fight against agricultural labor trafficking in rural Georgia and to provide comprehensive services to the survivors.
Human Trafficking Shelter Services Coordinator
Family Sunshine Center The Shelter Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of client services in the HT Shelter program including directing crisis response efforts, identifying and addressing client needs, managing statistical data for grant reports, supervising House Managers and Relief Staff, and coordinating with Director of Residential Programs regarding the needs and culture of the HT Shelter program, in accordance with FSC policy and procedures.
Labor Trafficking Caseworker
Tapestri Inc. This position will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary Agricultural Task Force. The focus of this position will be to provide comprehensive case management to farmworkers identified as victims of human trafficking, across the state of Georgia. This entails working unconventional work hours. Overnight travel may be required. The Labor Trafficking Caseworker will often respond to emergency calls and assist with emergency client needs as well as long term case management. This is a full-time position with varying work hours depending on client needs and agency activities.

HRSA is seeking nominations for voting members to serve as Special Government Employees (SGEs) on the NACMH to fill three open positions. Specifically, HRSA is requesting nominations for the following positions: Board Member/Patient (1 nominee) and Administrator/Provider (2 nominees). The Board Member/Patient nominee must be a member or member-elect of a governing board of an organization receiving funding under section 330(g) of the PHS Act. The board member nominee must also be a patient of the health center that he/she represents. Additionally, a board member nominee must be familiar with the delivery of primary health care to migratory and seasonal agricultural workers (MSAWs) and their families. The Administrator/Provider nominees must be qualified by training and experience in the medical sciences or in the administration of health programs for MSAWs and their families. Interested applicants may be nominated by another individual or organization.
