Sidewalk Referral Agent/Special Skills Intern

The Women’s Care Network Internship is a unique and exciting opportunity for pro-life individuals seeking to gain real-world experience, explore and discern opportunities, form and grow personally, and be a part of the real and practical solution to building a local Culture of Life. Working as Sidewalk Referral Agents, interns will gain on-the-street experience helping connect women and couples facing unexpected pregnancies to the life-affirming care she needs to choose life! The intern will also have the opportunity to cultivate networking skills with community resources in Memphis and surrounding areas, including various Pregnancy Help Centers in Memphis and Southaven.

This paid internship is a personally enriching opportunity for all, and is designed to offer excellent resume experience for UofM, Rhodes, and Southwest Community College students, and students seeking further education or careers in fields such as counseling, human services, psychology, behavioral sciences, marketing, family development, health professions, research, philosophy, theology, religious studies, and more!
All interns will be expected to attend regular trainings and meetings after acceptance into the program.

After training, each intern will be assigned 6 to 20 hours per week of active outreach outside a local abortion facility, or more, depending on their availability. Hourly wages for interns start at $9 per hour.

In addition to sidewalk outreach, intern may have opportunities to help with other Coalition for Life activities, including but not limited to events, fundraising, phone calls, mailings, emails, graphic design, presentations, or other office related tasks.

Every effort will be made to accommodate current school and personal schedules; however, this internship does require daytime work throughout the week and the scheduling of the hours will be at times when abortion facilities are open.

Marketing Manager

Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team.
The Marketing Manager works closely with the Director of Marketing and the rest of the marketing team to serve the department’s operational needs. The Marketing Manager will be involved in the everyday operational tasks required to run an effective team. directs creative output for a brand from the early concept stages through to production. Duties include developing ideas on how to advertise, working with department leads to create a shared vision, and leading a design team to complete projects. The Service Coordinator coordinates with the Mobile Operations Production Manager on details of needed service regarding Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) and affiliates/partners. Facilitates relationship and communication between affiliates/partners, builder, and repair facilities when service is needed. Create and maintain a system to track, pay, and manage service/warranty concerns. Coordinates with Mobile Operations Production Manager, any necessary contractors, and affiliates/partners for the scheduling and execution of trainings and delivery. Responsible for processes that support ongoing superior customer relations between Storks and all customers, builders, and necessary vendors both external and internal.

Minimum Requirements:
• A firm grasp of non-profit program experience
• At least one year of experience in the automotive industry
• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment
• Excellent Customer Relations skills, with external & internal customers
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven teamwork, participation, and accountability
