Since then, the school has seen an influx of enrollment as well as the addition of grades 9-12. The 2023-2024 school year will feature the school’s first senior class. Truly a parish school, the overwhelming majority of school families are active parishioners. Thanks to the support and leadership of the Pastor and Parochial Vicar, the school program features daily Mass and confession. Since its founding, the school has been staffed by the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles, with five sisters currently serving on the faculty.
Position Overview The addition of grades 9-12 has brought with it many unique challenges. The Dean of the Upper School will provide strong leadership for the students and faculty of grades 9-12 and assist the Principal with the continued development of the high school experience at Holy Innocents. Additionally, as Director of Classical Instruction, the ideal candidate will assist with the continued development of the faculty as it pertains to classical pedagogy, methods, assessments, etc.
