Our organization is responsible for managing 28 nature preserves in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. Management includes invasive removal, prescribed burns, wildlife management, and various forms of monitoring. The vacant position is for a GIS expert that can help with strategic planning and GIS technology development and management. I’ll be happy to discuss at the conference with anyone that may be interested or that has questions.

In short, this position... will work with ANHC staff, partners, and contractors to manage 78 Natural Areas across Arkansas. This position spends most of their time in the field working on stewardship tasks including, but not limited to: invasive species management, prescribed fire, and boundary posting. There are some office duties, so knowledge of common computer software like Microsoft products and ArcMap is prefered.

This individual will assist in the development and implementation of our strategy for a comprehensive core and mid-level donor engagement program. The Manager will be responsible for building a robust pipeline of new donors, cultivating and retaining current donors and re-engaging lapsed donors. The Manager will leverage their creative ideas and persuasive writing skills to craft campaigns that trigger engagement and action.
