FAA Serves as a Radar Controller at a Level 12 radar cab or radar approach control facility and is responsible for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic. A Level 12 radar approach control is characterized by a traffic density measure of 100 or more instrument operations per hour. Incumbent projects a positive, cooperative attitude towards system users and operators.
Air Traffic Control Specialist (CPC)
FAA Incumbent is responsible for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic. Provides radar control to aircraft arriving or departing the primary airport and adjacent airports, and to aircraft transiting the facility's airspace. Operates radar and communication equipment to apply radar separation standards and vectoring procedures. Detects and adjusts malfunctions and interferences in the equipment. Issues speed, altitude, and directional instructions to pilots to keep aircraft properly separated. Provides air traffic advisory services to pilots including clearances to operate aircraft, weather and field conditions, and safety and traffic alerts. Provides training to developmental air traffic controllers and other employees in the facility.
Director, Air Traffic Organization Technical Training
FAA The Director, ATO Technical Training, provides strategic and technical advice and guidance on establishing policy and directing the development, delivery and quality control of all mission support technical training and safety initiatives for the ATO. The Director, is responsible for ensuring the integration of ATO technical training efforts and for aligning the technical training with ATO and agency goals. The Director reports to the Vice President, Safety and Technical Training, and administers a budget of approximately $85M in the execution of duties through a multi-layered, geographically dispersed team of approximately 100 employees responsible for safety and technical training, services and requirements.
Deputy Vice President, Management Services
FAA The Deputy Vice President, Management Services, oversees the prioritization and distribution of ATO’s financial and people resources; provides technical labor relations advice; improves processes in technical hiring; provides leadership and employee development; and strengthens organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. FAA Duties and responsibilities include the following: relays Instrument Flight Rule (IFR) departure clearances, processes and monitors the input of proposed and active flight plans, assists customers in amending flight plan data; correcting flight plan formatting and route errors; develops and maintains bulk storage flight plans as required; prepares, transmits and coordinates alert notices and administrative messages; recover and manually processes and disseminates flight plan data and weather data during outages; receives, updates, and analyzes critical weather information and immediately notifies operational personnel; collects and disseminates flow control restrictions and other data related to flight safety; updates local automated information systems using voice recordings and manual data inputs; trains developmentals as required; performs other duties as assigned.

FAA As a Management and Program Analyst, he/she uses experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues of customer strategy, employee engagement or organizational health that facilitate the development of written products that articulate, interpret and explain Management Services (AJG) and ATO programs and policies, including supporting content for the ATO minute. He/she provides leadership for highly complex and challenging activities under the minimal direction of a manager or executive. This work directly affects the ATO's strategic alignment, direction and resources to accomplish its’ mission, vision and goals.
