The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, Nephrology Section, in Loma Linda CA, is expanding and seeking a Board Certified (BC) Nephrologist / BC Internal Medicine for Clinician-Educator position to join a collegial group of Nephrologists committed to providing outstanding patient care and education of house staff and fellows in our fully-accredited ACGME training programs. We care for one of the largest and most diverse populations of CKD, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplant patients in the VA. Responsibilities will include the full scope of Nephrology practice with supervising resident physicians. Night and weekend calls, including fellow supervision, are shared equally between Nephrologists. Experience and interest in managing patients with kidney transplant and patients receiving home modalities of dialysis is strongly preferred. Additionally, completion of advanced training in research methodology is highly desirable.
VALLHS is affiliated with the Loma Linda University SOM and faculty appointment commensurate with level of experience and achievement is expected. We also have strong collaborative relationships with the Division of Nephrology at Loma Linda University Medical Center and the Loma Linda University School of Public Health.

Must have current, full & unrestricted U.S. license to practice medicine
Board Certification in Nephrology (BE Considered) and BC Internal Medicine
