The ideal candidates are self-motivated and very compassionate about patient care. Our practice is involved in all aspects of Nephrology. We are highly active in hospital inpatient, ICU management, hemo and peritoneal dialysis. We have a group owned vascular access center, medical directorships at multiple kidney transplant centers and dialysis medical directorships.
At South Texas Renal Care Group, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of kidney disease patients throughout San Antonio and South Texas. South Texas Renal Care Group is a successful and rapidly growing group practice consisting of 17 physicians and 4 nurse practitioners. We service 12 clinic locations in and around San Antonio, Texas and maintain one AAAAS Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center. Our physicians are the medical directors at 19 US Renal Care Dialysis units and of these 19 dialysis units, 2 are home dialysis programs.

The Section of Nephrology and Hypertension at Tulane University School of Medicine is accepting candidates for an open rank faculty nephrologist.
Qualified Candidates
Faculty rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in the non-tenure clinical educator track
Must be board certified/eligible in general nephrology
Eligible for an unrestricted Louisiana medical license as well as CDS and DEA required
The Section of Nephrology oversees inpatient services that include care of acute and chronic kidney disease, provision of dialysis services, fluid and electrolyte problems, and glomerulonephritis and kidney transplant.
The physician will attend on the inpatient services along with the fellows.
The Physician will have outpatient duties on a continuing basis and include care of chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, transplant and hypertension.
The physician will participate in the teaching and clinical programs of the residents, fellows, and medical students.
The candidate will have on-call coverage on a rotating basis.
Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and candidates that are presently finishing fellowship are all encouraged to apply.
