Weatherization Assessor/QCI
South Plains Community Action
South Plains Community Action has two full-time positions available for a Weatherization Assessor/QCI. Responsibilities include conducting inspections of low-income homes to determine the number and type of weatherization measures eligible for installation. Assessor will acquire knowledge in conducting heating & cooling appliance diagnostic tests, including blower-door testing, pressure-pan measurements, and testing of all gas appliances for carbon monoxide emissions and operate computer generated energy audit software. High School Diploma or GED required. Bilingual preferred. Must be willing to adhere to extensive training to obtain required certifications. Proficiency within Microsoft applications. Position Summary
This position focuses on the implementation of comprehensive and limited case management principles, functions, and methods that place emphasis on family development of self-sufficiency. The Caseworker is responsible for the daily planning, organizing, implementation, and tracking of self-sufficiency plans/goals for individuals and families within the Family Support Program. The position requires strong skills in the areas of collaboration, coordination of activities, and organization.

Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions
o Confirm Program eligibility.
o Verify the required documents for the application.
o Conduct pre- and post-household assessments.
o Submit payment requests for rental and utility payments on the client’s behalf.
o Collaborate and coordinate the integration of services with partners with the goal of assisting households in obtaining economic stability.
o Maintain and verify records documenting individual participant activities, progress, and other services necessary to achieve case management goals, as needed.
o Enter client information into required data entry systems.
o Ensure all required documents are complete.
o Attend staff and community meetings aimed at building relationships and mobilizing resources.
o Receive overflow calls, as needed.
