Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Middle School Math Teacher at ArtSpace Charter School. The Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering math lessons, developing and implementing curriculum, and providing a supportive learning environment for students. The role requires working with students in grades 7 & 8 and collaborating with other teachers and staff to integrate math into the broader arts curriculum.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development NC Teacher certification in Middle School Math or eligible for Residency licensure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences Passion for integrating math with the arts Experience with experiential education and STEAM programs is preferred but not required Experience working with middle school students
