Sea Lavender Montessori is an established elementary micro-school affiliated with Wildflower Schools. Following Wildflower’s teacher-leader model, teachers at Sea Lavender have a voice in all facets of school operation. Teachers at Sea Lavender will also have the opportunity to work closely with the AMI trainers at Rising Tide Montessori, an education innovation center focused on making Montessori education more accessible.

Within our nature-focused environment, you will work with other Montessori teachers to develop and implement individualized lessons and curriculum for your students. You are excited about spending large portions of your day outdoors as you guide your students’ learning and discovery. You will maintain the prepared classroom environment as you teach within your multi-age setting and integrate nature learning into your lessons and plans. You will develop meaningful and lasting bonds with children and families and engage in regular observation in order to ensure your ability to follow the child and meet his or her needs.
