The YW4A EA Technical Programme Manager is responsible for successful delivery of the programme at country level in Kenya and South Sudan, under the supervision of the YW4A Partnership and Initiative Lead (P&I Lead). The manager is responsible for the programme cycle management, primarily focusing on the engagement of and co-creation with young women under Pathway 2 of the programme, and linking this to the implementation of the three other pathways towards capacity building (Pathway 1), norms change (Pathway 3) and advocacy for legal and policy change (Pathway 4) in the two countries.
The contractors’ deliverables include project management and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, relationship management, budget assistance, and administration. The contractor must be able to prioritize their work, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and, and execute work under pressure and time constraints.

Part-Time Remote Grantwriter (Women's Leadership org)

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record in fundraising to contribute to Wedu’s fundraising goals by diversifying, growing and sustaining income from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, Bi-laterals, and INGO funders. This fundraiser must be a talented writer adept at explaining and promoting our work’s importance to various audiences. They will be able to identify and implement new funding streams, successfully apply for grants, and manage Wedu’s institutional fundraising activities.

This part-time position (15-20 hours/week) is fully remote. We do not have a preference for your location; we only ask that you make yourself available for periodic check-ins with the Wedu’s team, primarily based in GMT +7, during regular business hours and that you are able to connect with donors as needed. The position comes with a six-month, extendable contract and pro-rated remuneration of USD 35,000-40,000 per annum.

Steering Committee Member
The U.S. End FGM/C Network
Position
This is a volunteer position. Steering Committee members will serve a term of four years and no more than two consecutive terms. The U.S. Network is looking to fill at least two positions for the Steering Committee. This is a fully remote position with potential for in-person meetings or events. Steering Committee Responsibilities
-Be informed about and committed to, and an ambassador for the Network’s mission, vision, and values, strategic and operating plans, policies, programs, statements, and activities
-Ensure that appropriate staff, consultants, and Steering Committee members are in place to fulfill the Mission, Vision and Values, Strategic Plan, and other identified objectives of the Network.
-Recruit, monitor, support and participate in an annual performance evaluation of the Network Director
-Ensure appropriate policies addressing conflicts of interest are in place and being enforced.
-Review financial statements, funding goals and plans, budgets and participate in fundraising as appropriate
-Review and provide recommendations on Network policy briefs and statements on relevant issues and events related to FGM/C
-Prepare for and actively contribute to Steering Committee meetings, be available for consultation, and respond to requests for information and feedback from the Network Director and other Steering Committee members in a timely manner.
-Participate in periodic self-reviews of the Steering Committee performance (including composition, organization, and responsibilities) and take steps to improve performance as needed.
-Maintain confidentiality of the Network’s internal executive discussions and request approval when disclosure is necessary.

The Programme Officer - Communications will play a key role in conveying GAATW's principles, analyses, and advocacy messages to the media, civil society, the general public, international and regional policymakers, and women migrant workers.
