Reporting to the Managing Director, the main responsibilities of this position will be:
- Prospect for new customers in the commercial shipping industry
- Manage client relations
- Develop new business, new partnerships, and new solutions
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals/quotations
- Plan and define sales strategies
- Elaborate sales reports on customer orders, needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Elaborate technical drawings in CAD/Visio
- After-sales: promote spare part sales, system upgrades, and refits to existing customers
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2 years or more experience with sales for boating industry
- Experience with ship electronics
- Experience with marine monitoring and automation systems
- Experience with electrical drawings
- Advanced understanding of PLC functions and system integration
- Entrepreneur profile
- Available for travels
