Executive Assistant to CEO
FIRST 5 Santa Clara County
Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, general office operations and governing Commission. The Executive Assistant will also serve as the administrative assistant for Commission related duties. This position has primary responsibilities for gathering, summarizing, and assembling pertinent information and materials for Committees and Commissions meetings, maintain internal and external contacts at all organizational levels and uphold highly sensitive and confidential information. This position is not part of a bargaining unit.

Educational and Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible and complex administrative and analytical work at the executive level, preferably at the C-level.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred. Experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Term
This is a full-time, exempt position, 40 hours per week. Some nights and weekends may be required. Travel is less than 10% – some travel to conferences, meetings and other FIRST 5 events may be required. This position is not part of a bargaining unit.

OPERATIONS MANAGER full time, exempt position

Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the Operations Manager plans and implements the organization’s day-to-day operations to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. S/he manages the flow of information and communications between various teams of staff and consultants and the systems that support them. Also maintains external relationships with the organization’s vendors, partners, supporters, and the public.

Maintain general inquiries, office, and administrative systems in support of: Data management, finance, communications, strategic planning, racial equity/social justice programming.

Desired Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or Arts related field (preferred);
 3-5 years of related experience in lieu of education
 Demonstrated commitment to equity and social justice
 Demonstrated cultural competency; experience working in/with Latinx/BIPOC communities
 Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills
 Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
 Excellent interpersonal communications skills (written and verbal)
 Flexible and able to adapt to the organization's evolving needs

Salary Range: $45,000 to $65,000
