Director of Individual Giving

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director, Individual Giving this role will play a pivotal role in growing revenue, fostering donor relationships, and expanding our fundraising efforts. The Director, Individual Giving is a key leadership role within our Development team, responsible for overseeing and executing a comprehensive strategy for individual giving, major giving, annual Empowerment Gala, monthly donors, alumni donors, and peer-to-peer fundraising events.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive individual giving strategy that aligns with the organization’s fundraising goals and mission
Strategically engage, nurture, and secure support from major donors across various giving levels, encompassing individuals, mid-level contributors, and annual supporters.
Lead the planning and execution of the organization’s annual empowerment gala, working collaboratively with the events team and volunteers.
Champion the organization’s donor-related events, with a focus on creating meaningful and engaging experiences for supporters.
Develop strategies to increase revenue from monthly donors through effective donor acquisition, retention, and engagement
Establish and maintain relationships with alumni donors, creating opportunities for their continued engagement and support
Develop and manage peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, empowering supporters to fundraise on behalf of the organization
Build and develop a major gifts program, including donor recognition and stewardship initiatives
Oversee the planned giving program, working with donors to establish legacy gifts and bequests
Work collaboratively with the marketing department and outside vendors to create and execute digital marketing and fundraising campaigns, utilizing data-driven strategies to maximize donor acquisition and retention
Assess the effectiveness of direct mail fundraising campaigns and make data-informed recommendations for improvement

Corporate and Foundation Partnerships Manager

The Corporate and Foundation Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in helping BRAC USA achieve its mission of empowering people and communities in poverty to create a better future.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships (CFP), the Manager will identify new corporate and foundation donors, support the development of BRAC USA’s pipeline of prospects and proposals, and oversee their own portfolio. The CFP team manages a broad, cross-sectoral portfolio of existing and new donors to support BRAC’s early childhood development; education; gender equality; health, humanitarian; agriculture; food security and livelihoods; climate change and emergencies; ultra-poor graduation; youth empowerment; and skills development programs. Working closely with the Director, the Manager will help align funding opportunities with the programmatic strategies and pipeline of BRAC’s programs globally. The Manager will work closely with key counterparts in the broader BRAC family, including BRAC Bangladesh, BRAC International, BRAC country teams, and the Global Resource Mobilization and Partnerships (GRP) team.
