Job Description Summary: The Storytelling Coordinator is a full-time role for a highly-qualified, Christian individual who is willing to serve in a donor development capacity with... in the Storytelling Group (STG) department of Cookson Hills. STG’s primary focus is telling the story of Cookson Hills and marketing its services and needs. The Storytelling Coordinator will provide a written voice for Cookson Hills by publishing newsletters, reports, social media posts, and similar written content. S/he must believe deeply in the cause of helping kids who are at-risk. The ideal candidate must be able to convey the voice of the ministry and the children served in a way that connects with donors. The ability to collaborate with others is vital.



Minimum Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are required in order for an applicant to be considered for the role of Storytelling Coordinator.



Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field from a four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Faith Beliefs: Demonstrate Christian faith and practice, agreeing with and abiding by the Cookson Hills Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Agreement provided on the employment application.



Computer Skills: Knowledge of Internet software, specifically the Google Apps suite, including Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, etc. Ability to utilize email as a reliable form of communication. Must have the ability to learn and operate certain aspects of the donor management software and possess competency in Excel, Word, and MS operating systems.



Professionalism: Demonstrates professional telephone and office etiquette skills, and the ability to pleasantly handle face-to-face interactions in a variety of public speaking settings.

Starting salary range is $54,400 to $62,500 depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package including 401(k), Paid Time Off and Holidays, Health Insurance Reimbursement, Season Pass, Ski/Equipment Locker, and Professional Licenses/Certification Reimbursements. Estimated annual starting benefit value of an additional $13,200.
